Is the world weird or are you a weirdo
First of all, let us get clear on what weird means...answers???
bugging him more than usual or driving him insane
Example-
The world seems weird when you think you are perfectly al right, you are behaving
nicely, adhering to all the rules but the "other people" or rather the "system" might
be TOTALLY WEIRD.
To talk more bout people acting weird...
After doing all the blame game, is the world weird or is that YOU who is really weird
You would know that you were w-e-i-r-d only after "Realization"
for example

- Go to the market on a monday and to reassure your hard luck , the market youtravelled for an hour remains closed on monday... you mumble that it wasn't that way before and they brought it down without your notice
- Stand in a queue for hours together either to get tickets for a movie or pay your bills or even wait for your turn to pray to god in the temple.. there is always someone who is better off at luck , who very smoothly passes through without struggling as much as you did , uses influence in temples in a better way, tricks you in the line to pay the bill... and you are like.."hey wait a minute... it's my turn at the billing counter " OR "hey moron, i was in the queue for darshan and i need to see god first...stop posing as a VIP" and you know that your voice isn't heard....

- A person, who normally talks nicely to you appears "lip sealed" the next time you meet him/her.. and you wont know why he/she is behaving that way..(this is weird)..had such an experience??
- A relative of yours acts very plastic (imitated expressions and forced gestures) all of a sudden and you are like..hello what's wrong (weirdo :D)
- Your child suddenly becomes cranky and emotional and you're like what the hell
- Most of the nicest people have to deal with weirdos day-in and day-out
- You go out of your way to help someone and that person turns his back on you
- You do your best to impress your peers, someone else is enjoying all the attention very easily

- Eat even when you aren't hungry but just that you want to be greedy ..so tat no one else gets to eat
- Fight with your mum like crazy for all that pent up anger at office
- Fight with you sibling just because you wan2 fight and be a bully
- Act funny with friends and have assertive talks and later someday realise...hey I was a weirdo...
- Argue with your partner for asking one more question for which an answer would have demanded less energy than an arguement which almost drained you off (you sick WEIRDO)
So I'd like to say its a weird weird world with weird people, weird rules and weird
equations. Its kinda tricky... you know..wherther the world was weird or the people made it WeIrD!!!

Hey interesting topic.... You are right Weird people make the world Weird! The example you have quoted bringing the amount of 'weiredness' happening around us, are so true. I think being weird has become a trend as most of us are just not conscious about our own behaviour and it is also it is our preferences of being both perfect and weird at certain circumstances. So ya, it is people who make the world weird as we, the people are weird! Good post da.. nice topic

ReplyDeleteActually,Talking abt being weird, u have many situations when either we wud ve acted weird or wud ve found someone else acting weird wid u.. It mostly happens in relationships. either wid ur parents, siblings, colleagues or partners.. Most of times,the behaviour of the person makes the whole situation weird. U wud keep wondering y did the person act that way or a single comment or a look would get u upset.. I bet all of us would have faced such situations :)

I would say, weirdo's make the world Weird :-) in the sense world isn't weird but people who are weird make the world weird. What do you say?? For any emotions that we see in others, we should have them first to recognise isn't it??? Yes, a very nice topic and I am sure we all have acted weird on many occassions and probably still do :-) Well written Arti, I really love the way you and Chitra write. Chins how come you have been quiet on the blog front. My SIL is also a good blogger..
ReplyDeletehey very good start arthi..havent seen the philosophical side of u.Yes ur very much rite also i feel ppl try to act weird just to show tat they r a different from all the other ppl (try to stand out) and it's teh perception of others towards him tat they feel weird. Weird is not always a negative ....it can sometimes lead to new tread , lke for example weird costume, weird design(out of box one) can set trends for the future provided many ppl acknowledge it, though it may seem wierd for now.......:)
